ABOUT ME

As a child I was frightened of the dark because people I could not see always seemed to be touching me when I was trying to get to sleep at night, so I would huddle myself right under the bedclothes.

At the age of 15 I was fortunate enough to have a vivid dream which showed me clearly which theorems were going to be in my Geometry GCE ‘O’level exam the following day – I was amazed (and relieved) when I turned over the exam paper!

At the age of 24, I worked in the records department of a children’s hospital and developed the ability to dream about the whereabouts of missing patients records – very useful!

At around the same age, I also had experiences which were not so comfortable – there were 2 times in different flats where I was living when there was a loud and intense hammering on the door of the room I was in – but there was no-one there. I was terrified!

I finally got involved with metaphysics when I was 39 years old and had a rapid education with regard to mediumship, healing, other dimensions, channelling etc. I started developing my own mediumistic gifts and became a medium and healer, receiving strong guidance directly from the spirit world. Later this ability seemed to blend more with my own personality and I continued to be guided but in a more subtle way.

During this time I founded The Healing Light, a spiritual and holistic centre. Part of it continues today - www.thehealinglight.net.

I also went on to become a teacher in these fields, helping others to develop their inner potential. My guides introduced me to the idea of manifesting a number of years ago before I was aware of any books on the subject and we even apparently had the energy of Einstein in one of our development circles. Only recently have I become aware of one of his quotes,

“There are only two ways to live your life. One, is as though there are no miracles. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”

I was also drawn to learn about herbs and herbal medicines, homeopathy, hypnotherapy and counselling and experimented with the powerful effects of "EFT – Emotional Freedom Technique" – and "NLP – Neuro Linguistic Programming".

In 2005 , I was guided to move to Portugal. However, it took me 3 visits before I realised that a small house that I had turned down 3 times was where I was supposed to live. It was only on the last visit that my husband pointed out to me the tiled picture of a Guardian Angel on the house itself !

And have I experienced miracles? Of course! I even had what to me was a miraculous experience when I wanted to book my first flights out to Portugal. There was a blip on the airlines website and I was issued with tickets for 9 different flights at just 1p each – taxes included! And no, it was not Ryannair but another company who are not in the habit of offering very cheap flights!

My husband and I moved out to Portugal with just 2 suitcases and our 3 black cats. We knew not a soul yet magically people appeared to help us and I came across people who were very interested in the same things as myself and they have lived in England in the same area without us ever meeting over there.

I am currently involved in a new venture for holistic health in Portugal – www.caminhonatural.com and I continue to learn about energy and the ways of ‘tweaking’ it to create an effect in the physical world.

I am passionate about passing on that knowledge so that we can all live inspired and guided lives.
